Adult Swim is late night programming featuring a myriad of non-G-rated cartoons. Some of the more prominent featured shows include Robot Chicken and Family Guy. It's run by Turner, which is owned by Time-Warner.

It runs after 10:30 PM Monday-Thursday, after 11 PM Saturday, and after 10 PM Sunday on the Cartoon Network. The shows vary in ratings, from TV-PG to TV-MA. Adult Swim began airing September 2, 2001, and in March 2005 was split from Cartoon Network completely for ratings reasons.[1]

Adult Swim has continuously been the highest rated programming for young adults and men.[2]
