Albuquerque International Sunport, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico, is the largest commercial airport in the state of New Mexico. (USA) [1] Over six million travelers per year use the airport, which is located at 2200 Sunport Blvd SE, Albuquerque, NM 87106. The airport is owned by the City of Albuquerque and operated by the Department of Aviation. [2] The airport incorporates the Pueblo style of architecture common to the state of New Mexico, and inside, has an exhibit of Native American Indian and Hispanic artwork displayed. [3] The airport, which serves many major airlines, was expanded in 1996 and has 23 gates on two concourses. [4]
