6. I do not think that newspapers played a huge role in the 2008 presidential election as compared to the election in 1890. The internet and the television are the big thing now. Newspapers are not as popular.
- True, but the television and the internet still seem to take their lead from newspapers. In other words, newspapers still drive the media, but won't for much longer.
