Arkansas Aviation Hall of Fame was created in 1980 by the Arkansas Aviation Historical Society. From 1995 to January 1, 2011, it was based at the Aerospace Education Center, 3301 East Roosevelt Road, Little Rock, Arkansas, near Little Rock National Airport. When Aerospace Education Center closed, records were donated to the Butler Center for Arkansas Studies, Little Rock.

Arkansas Aviation Hall of Fame honors Arkansans who played a great role in aviation history on the national or state scene. New members of the Hall of Fame were inducted annually from 1980 to 2010, and again in 2015.
