Asa Griggs Candler

Asa Griggs Candler (December 30, 1851 – March 12, 1929) was an American capitalist and the first head of the Coca-Cola Company. He bought the rights to the soft drink Coca-Cola from its inventor, an American doctor named John Pemberton. In addition, he was the mayor of Atlanta from 1916 to 1919.
