The Association of Politically Active Christians is an unincorporated association in New York State’s Capital Region that informs and equips Christians to help them participate in the political process. APAC's purpose is to broaden Christian influence in local, state, and federal politics and public policies, and to motivate people of faith to register and vote using Biblical values as a guide. APAC’s core political values are the sanctity of human life, the sanctity of the traditional family unit, religious freedom, a strict interpretation of the Constitution, and limited government. APAC was founded in 2004, and was instrumental in preventing the passage of a proposed Albany County ordinance that would have created special rights for individuals who identify themselves as transgendered.
