Angela Marie "Bay" Buchanan served as United States Treasurer under Ronald Reagan from March 17, 1981 to July 5, 1983, being the youngest person to hold that position at the time. Born a Roman Catholic she eventually converted to Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and endorsed Mitt Romney after advising Tom Tancredo's failed attempt to seek the Republican nomination.
