Bloke

Bloke is an informal term for a man in Australian and British English. More specifically, "bloke" refers to a man who is perceived as down-to-earth, manly, honest, dependable, etc.

To the dismay of many, its use is being taken over increasingly by the American "guy", mainly due to commercial television.
