Bobby Abreu

Bobby Abreu (born March 11, 1974 in Aragua, Venezuela) is a Major League Baseball right fielder for the New York Yankees. In his professional career he has played with the Houston Astros (1996 -1997), Philadelphia Phillies (1998-2006) and Yankees (2006 -) after the Phillies traded him to the Yankees in the middle of the 2006 season[1]. In 2004, Abreu won the Home Run Derby contest with a record breaking 41 total home runs. Abreu will remain with the Yankees until at least 2009, after having his 2008 option year exercised by the team on November 2, 2007.
