Burmilla (cat)
From Conservapedia
The Burmilla breed of cat has its origins in England in the 1980s, by way of an accidental mating of a lilac Burmese Queen and a silver Chinchilla Persian. Combining the names of the two breeds resulted in the breed name "Burmilla."
Physical Description
Part of the Burmilla's attraction its coat: the ground color may be either silver or gold, and gently tipped in black, brown, or other standard Burmese colors. When it comes to body proportions, theirs are similar to those of the Burmese, but the coat is slightly longer than that of the Burmese. Green eyes are set wide apart in a gently rounded head.
The agouti coat, which appears in both standard and silver versions, may either be tipped or shaded in the following colors: Black; Blue; Chocolate; Lilac; Red; Caramel; Apricot; Cream; Black Tortie; Blue Tortie; Chocolate Tortie; Lilac Tortie; Caramel Tortie.
Also called the Silver Burmese, the delicately colored, Handsome Burmilla has become one of the most popular breeds in the U.S. and Australasia.
Personality
Another of their attractions is their even disposition. They are described as playful, outgoing, sociable, friendly, affectionate, and gentle. They are excellent mousers.
