Cabeza de Vaca, Alvar Nunez

Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca lived from 1490 to 1560. He was a Spanish explorer who explored the coastal region of modern day Texas. His accounts of the 'Seven Golden Cities of Cibola' inspired extensive exploration by Hernando de Soto and Francisco Coronado.
