In Camps Newfound/Owatonna, Inc. v. Town of Harrison, 520 U.S. 564, 576 (1997), the U.S. Supreme Court held that a State impermissibly "discriminates against interstate commerce" when it "distinguishes between entities that serve a principally interstate clientele and those that primarily serve an intrastate market," even when each of the entities involved is based in the same State.
