International Law is a relatively new concept in the legal world. It refers to the litigations and legal obligations of states in the international system. In some respects international law is more ideal than fact, as all states are sovereign in their affairs and thus have no higher power to judge their acts. Thus, international law is only created by the consent of states to adhere to it.
