Celtic can be many things, it is:
• A language family, and is part of the larger language family known as Indo-European. Celtic includes the several ancient languages, which have evolved into the modern languages of Welsh, Irish Gaelic, and Scots Gaelic.
• A Scottish Football team (in this case, pronounced "Seltick" which has it's roots in Ireland but play in Glasgow. They have Green and White striped shirts and are also known as "The Hoops", "The Mighty Hoops", or "The Celts" (pronounced Selts)
• A description of the tribes of ancient Britannia such as The Scots, The Picts ("Painted People"), and so forth.
