Charles Hapgood

Charles H. Hapgood (1904-1982) was an American academic and historian. He is noted for his theory of crustal displacement which he propounded in his book The Earth's Shifting Crust, the foreward of which was written by Albert Einstein.
During World War II, Hapgood worked for:
- The Office of Strategic Services (OSS)
- The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA)
- The Red Cross
He finally served as a liaison officer between the White House and the Office of the Secretary of the War.
