Charles J. Watters
In 1966, he went to Vietnam with his unit, and during his first tour he won the Air Medal and the Bronze Star for Valor. On November 19, 1967, his unit was in heavy combat with the enemy. Chaplain Watters saved the lives of several soldiers while under enemy fire. For "his conspicuous gallantry, unyielding perseverance and selfless devotion to his comrades" Chaplain Watters was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor. He is buried in Arlington National Cemetery.
