Constance Yu-Hwa Chung Povich (born August 20, 1946) is an American news reporter. She is currently married to talk show host Maury Povich. Her career has spanned a wide range from serious reporting to sensationalism.

Her interview with the parents of Newt Gingrich on January 5, 1995 sparked outrage at her journalistic malpractice. She gave the impression of an "off the record" moment in the interview to get Gingrich's mother to repeat an insult he said in private about Hillary Clinton. Chung plied the information from Mrs. Gingrich with the lie: "Why don't you just whisper it to me? Just between you and me", falsely implying that she had no intent to repeat or broadcast the comment. The comment was broadcast in full.[1]
