Bible Verse

1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, 2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

"Senator Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., said the health care bill passed last night by the House of Representatives is 'dead on arrival to the Senate.' Graham argued that the House bill was 'written for liberals, by liberals. Just look at how it passed; it passed 220 to 215 ....'"[2]

The Ludwig von Mises Institute has just released an extraordinary 42 minute film entitled Money, Banking and the Federal Reserve that is freely available to the public at YouTube.[3] The film is dedicated to Murray N. Rothbard, steeped in American history and Austrian economics, and features Ron Paul, Joseph Salerno, Hans Hoppe, and Lew Rockwell. Alan Greenspan is reported to be unhappy about the film. Watch the film, and you'll understand why!

The leading British newsweekly, The Economist, refuses to translate the Fort Hood killer's last words.[4] But that liberal publication had no trouble using the English term "Allah" in 71 other articles in its archives.

Liberals complain about the use of the Bible by jurors who sentenced a murderer to death: "The death sentence on a Texan man has been carried out despite claims jurors at his trial quoted the Bible during their deliberations. ... Amnesty had learned from four jurors that several Bibles were present in the jury room, with passages highlighted and passed between them."[5] Apparently liberals want jurors to read the newspaper instead!

The so-called conservative Democrats ( Blue Dogs ) were the difference in passing ObamaCare in the U.S. House of Representatives. A total of 28 Blue Dog Democrats forfeited their principles in favor of socialist healthcare & big government. [6] "If this bill passes the Senate, America will be bankrupt and nobody will have healthcare."

Obama takes in a game of billiards. The Labor Department reported 16 million people are now out of work, the most ever in U.S. history.

16 Million Americans are now suffering without hope in a jobless recovery. [7] Earlier, the president promised unemployment would never rise above 7.8%, [8] as an additional 4 million jobs were destroyed after the Obama stimulus passed, as experts predicted. [9]

House holds rules debate on health-care bill whether to allow amendments, and will vote on the trillion-dollar government takeover Saturday night. Do the liberals have the 218 votes needed for passage? Pelosi said, "We'll see when we get to the floor."[10]

The New York Times recently endorsed liberal Jon Corzine for governor of New Jersey, but now it recounts his spending $130 million on his own political career with little more than a bad car crash to show for it. His 49-45% defeat Tuesday was "humiliating", says the Times, and its headline screams, "Unlucky and Aloof, Corzine Fell Short of Trenton Goals."[11]

We pray for the victims of the Fort Hood massacre and we pray that America takes steps to prevent this type of attack from happening again.

The British press mistranslates for liberal England the Fort Hood shooter's final words: "Allahu Akbar," which really means "Allah is great." A British paper shouts in its headline that his final words were "God is great,"[12] and then deflects the reader's attention to the heroine who stopped him.

Unemployment Rate tops 10%

The nation's unemployment rate rose above 10% for the first time since 1983 in October, a much worse jump than expected as employers continued to trim jobs from payrolls. The unemployment rate, calculated using a survey of households as opposed to companies, rose by 0.4 percentage point to 10.2%, the Labor Department said Friday. Economists surveyed by Dow Jones Newswires had forecast an increase to 9.9%. [13][14]

Hours before the Fort Hood massacre, "Democratic liberals" who lead the House Judiciary Committee voted Thursday to weaken the USA Patriot Act as a tool for combating terrorism.[15]

Liberal headlines downplay the facts about the Fort Hood massacre, but details are emerging through quotes by fellow soldiers.[16]

Gay activists: it's Obama's fault: "Gay activists were frustrated that Obama, who insists he staunchly supports their overall civil rights agenda, didn't speak out forcefully in defense of Maine's marriage law before Tuesday's referendum. The law was repealed in a vote of 53 percent to 47 percent. ... The White House, asked about the criticism, had no immediate comment."

Tragic Shooting at Fort Hood in Texas

A shooting rampage Thursday afternoon at the Army's Fort Hood in Texas killed 13 and wounded 30 before the gunman, Major Nidal Malik Hasan, was sent to the hospital in stable condition. Two other suspects have been taken into custody. "We have a terrible, tragic situation here," said Lt. General Bob Cone. "Soldiers, family members and the civilians that work here are absolutely devastated." [17][18][19] Most of those killed were soldiers.

Eleven more videos of schoolchildren trained to praise Obama: "when eleven more dropped in our email box it came as quite a shock. ... Each one of the videos below is creepier than the last because the further down you go, the younger the children — brace yourself for kindergartners – except for the last and most disturbing video, which you have to see to believe."[20]

Governor Charlie Crist: 'I didn't endorse' the stimulus package.

Florida Governor Charlie Crist was interviewed on CNN's The Situation Room wednesday and claimed he did not endorse the 2009 economic stimulus package.

WOLF BLITZER: Do you have any regrets about endorsing the economic stimulus package?

CHARLIE CRIST: Well, I didn't endorse it. I — you know, I didn't even have a vote on the darned thing. [21] [22]

Planned Parenthood makes the bulk of their money through abortion, setting quotas of how many babies per month should be killed, and raking in the cash[23]. Michele Bachmann "sets the stage for a congressional confrontation" today at high noon, and thousands converge on D.C. for her rally against Pelosi's planned federal takeover of medical care.[25] "The Republican lawmaker has been on a media blitz promoting [today]'s rally against the Democratic health care proposal on the steps of the Capitol, which she has dubbed 'The Super Bowl of Freedom.'"[26]

The number of jobs the Obama administration credits to federal stimulus money could be overstated by at least 20,000 of the 640,000 claimed, a Wall Street Journal analysis found. Recipients of the government grants and contracts appear to have made mistakes when estimating the number of jobs that have been saved or created, according to the Journal's review. The Obama administration said Friday that spending from the $787 billion stimulus program had directly created or saved about 640,000 jobs through Sept. 30. Republicans challenged the claim, saying there was no concrete way to tally jobs "saved." [27]

53-47% was the wide margin by which Maine voters rejected gay marriage, the centerpiece of the homosexual agenda.

Liberals admit this: "Contests serve as warning to Democrats: It's not 2008 anymore."[30] But then comes the liberal denial: "Neither gubernatorial election amounted to a referendum on the president." In fact, Obama hitched his presidency to both gubernatorial candidates, especially in New Jersey where he made 3 special election-eve appearances.
