Several photos didn't upload properly. I am done with the rest. [6] [7] [8] [9] Also, I don't know the reason behind the strict photo upload policy. I can only guess that since we allow liberals to edit here and some will attempt to be devious and upload porn. The liberal media such as the AP has demanded we remove pics from our site. --Jpatt 14:15, 17 November 2010 (EST)

Better Antarctica Image

I was searching the web to see if I could get a better idea of what exactly the colors on the Antarctica map in the Global Warming article mean when I found a better, labeled version ([13]) of the image that is currently being used (File:Composite_antarctic_NASA.jpg). Chihuahua

I've got a good picture for the Chihuahua page but I'm unsure of how to go about adding it.

Runescape

the current picture on the page (a guy in rune armor mining a rock) is rather dated in appearance, and [16]although not showing any actual players doing something, does show the graphics ingame as they stand and a well known and common location for players to be in, and as such would be a better image for the page. im assuming since its able to be on the runescape wiki it can be here as well. --SeanS 22:24, 29 May 2011 (EDT)

Please provide a better source to see the copyright of the image. --Joaquín Martínez 22:27, 29 May 2011 (EDT)
Im going to have to ask around on the wiki and will try to get back as soon as i can ^_^. --SeanS 22:39, 29 May 2011 (EDT)
Based on answers i got from the wiki IRC chat, they have permission to use it as long as they acknowledged its jagex's stuff. should work for us too. I can't find a page that speceficly says the copyright though. --SeanS 22:43, 29 May 2011 (EDT)

Fallout image

well, since i havent gotten anywhere on runescape, and it atleast has an image... how about for the fallout article im improving? with their reasoning for the right to use the image just below the image itself, having a picture showing how the world looks, if a little unclear on what is going on in it; helps improve the article in my opinion. also works although i am unsure of the copyright on the picture--SeanS 22:46, 19 June 2011 (EDT)

Hillary Clinton

Please upload the following pictures of Ms. Clinton to the colleage section of her article. They provide a unique and authentic sight to her character during her formative years. I've added them several times to Wikipedia but the censors there only allow flattering, approved-by-the-party pictures of liberal politicians.

[17] [18]

Both pictures were published on Life's edition of 20th June 1969. Regarding the copyright, "Getty Images represents and syndicates the entire LIFE Picture Collection" as stated in http://www.life.com/service/faq#q10 and Getty allows the use of their pictures as "Editorial Licensed Material" meaning "Licensed Material relating to events that are newsworthy or of public interest.." which is the case. The pictures were taken to illustrate an article about a public event at Wellesley University. Obama administration deficit spending

Still waiting on a response for this chart here which is based on data from the Congressional Budget Office and the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities. Its significance is not partisan (who’s “to blame” for the deficit) but intellectual. It demonstrates the utter incoherence of being very concerned about a structural federal deficit but ruling out of consideration the policy that was largest single contributor to that deficit, namely the Bush-era tax cuts.

Thanks —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Brittain (talk)

That chart is cherry picked, rosy "projection" and is meaningless. But but but...? It is intellectually dishonest and can only be found on liberal websites. A slightly older lefty chart promoting the same kind of bull [37]. You'll notice the authentic "based on U.S. Labor Department statistics" as a ref.--Jpatt 10:01, 4 August 2011 (EDT)

The Sims 3

I feel as if we don't have enough images for The Sims 3. In fact, we don't have any at all. Including the box art here would be a good start. Thanks. Fair use info is as follows:

The image is used for identification in the context of critical commentary of the work for which it serves as cover art. It makes a significant contribution to the user's understanding of the article, which could not practically be conveyed by words alone. The image is placed in the infobox at the top of the article discussing the work, to show a primary visual image associated with the work, and to help the user quickly identify the work and know they have found what they are looking for. Use for this purpose does not compete with the purposes of the original artwork, namely the creator providing graphic design services to relevant concerns and video game marketing to the public. Therefore, it should constitute fair use under US copyright law.

As cover art, the image is not replaceable by free content; any other image that shows the packaging of the item in question would also be copyrighted, and any version that is not true to the original would be inadequate for identification or commentary. ZachVega1 09:28, 5 September 2011 (EDT)

I'm unsure if this site wants video game articles. There seem to be quite a few in the deletion log.--JamesWilson 09:37, 5 September 2011 (EDT)
And a bunch that are not in the deletion area. Thres a good chance whatever was on the delelted ones were spam--SeanS 09:43, 5 September 2011 (EDT)
A few, yes. I proposed a merger for this article to be with The Sims as this merely appears to be a sequel.--JamesWilson 09:45, 5 September 2011 (EDT)
If you go on any other wiki, The Sims and The Sims 3 are separate articles. This is because they are dramatically different in gameplay and features. ZachVega1 10:11, 5 September 2011 (EDT)
