Dan Choi
From Conservapedia
Lieutenant Dan Choi is a homosexual Iraq War veteran, currently facing the possibility of discharge for violating military rules regarding homosexuals serving in the armed forces. Choi served in Iraq after graduating from West Point, but then abandoned front line work after meeting his "partner", Matthew Kissner, and moving to New York City to join the National Guard.
Despite his sexual perversions, Choi was allowed to serve in the armed forces provided he was not openly gay, so as not to damage the combat effectiveness of the unit. Despite this, and the military regulations, Choi decided to reveal his sexuality on television, and then to appear in numerous marches in defiance of the military regulations and the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy of the United States armed forces.[1]
