I think it is useful to debate this topic. Any ideas from my fellow conservatives

I dunno, but I can always tell when a radio show host is a conservative, even before they say much. They almost always yell. Maestro 14:36, 18 February 2008 (EST)

It might help if you actually started by getting a grammatically correct title. Shouldn't the page be "often HAVE an ugly undertone?" And frankly, most media has an ugly undertone; especially TV news such as Fox, CNN, MSNBC, et al.

Well, in my honest opinion, it has more to do with the issues that are dear to conservatives. They're usually considered moral issues, though some would say (including myself) that environmentalism and desiring for an Iraq pullout to tbe moral issues as well. But, most major conservative issues have more to do with morals and how they feel, also religious beliefs, which will definitely invoke more emotion when one speaks about it. Any thoughts? - ITfreq51

There is more power in a political or philosophical position if that position is one of disgust, hatred, or outrage. It is utilized to great effect by Greenpeace, as well as Fox news. People notice anger and outrage much more than they notice peaceful, respectful conversation and debate. The media in general, conservative or otherwise, has learned this, and uses it almost to the exclusion of real conversation about a topic.

Let's get silly now, the grit and imperfection of life,'reality displayed' (conservative media) vs. the perky and fake-impartiality media (liberals)--jp 22:51, 13 August 2008 (EDT)

It's the attacks on liberals I feel (as a liberal). For example, Bob Dutko here in Detroit, never seems to talk about what he wants to do about problems, only about how what liberals want to do is wrong, not even how they are wrong. Who know maybe the liberal radio shows are the same way (never bothered to here the things that I think from other people).--Snotbowst 10:44, 13 November 2008 (EST)

The Ugly Truth

"Conservative Media" subject matter is usually, if not always, a counter to the collectivist activity of the left. In this regard the ugly truth is preferable to all of the 'beautiful lies' perpetuated onto the American public. Unfortunately for some people who'd rather live in ignorant bliss don't want to face the ugly reality that is presented by the "Conservative Media".--Roopilots6 10:29, 21 June 2008 (EDT)
