Derrick Brooks (born April 18, 1973) was a National Football League star linebacker for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He began his NFL career when he was drafted by the Buccaneers in the first round of the 1995 NFL Draft. One of the best linebackers to ever play professional football, Brooks has been voted to the Pro Bowl ten straight years (1997-2006)[1] and was named an Associated Press All Pro player eight years in a row (1998-2005).
