# Distributive property

### From Conservapedia

In mathematics, if one has two binary operations * and * ' over a set *A* then we say that * distributes over * ' if for all *x*,*y*,*z* in A *x* * (*y* * '*z*) = (*x* * *y*) * '(*x* * *z*). A common example of operations with the distributive property is the example of multiplication distributing over addition.
