Distributive property

In mathematics, if one has two binary operations $\text{[math]}$ and $\text{[math]}$ over a set $\text{[math]}$ then we say that $\text{[math]}$ distributes over $\text{[math]}$ if for all $\text{[math]}$ in A $\text{[math]}$ . A common example of operations with the distributive property is the example of multiplication distributing over addition.
