"Don't Stand So Close To Me" is a 1980 song by The Police about a teacher struggling not to reciprocate a crush on him by a girl "half his age." It reached Number 1 in the UK singles charts and stayed there for 4 weeks. The track was also included on the album Zenyatta Mondatta. Many of the lyrics are poignant and hard-hitting, including the reference to Lolita, by Vladimir Nabokov.
