Ecopsychology "or eco-psychology as it is sometimes called", combines the fields of psychology and ecology. Ecopsychology "suggests that there is a synergistic relation between planetary and personal well being; that the needs of the one are relevant to the other." [1] "Ecopsychology was popularized in the early 1990s by social critic Theodore Roszak, and it is being taught in colleges and universities across the United States, including at Harvard Medical School."
