Elizabeth H. Roberts is the 68th and current (Democrat) Lieutenant Governor of the state of Rhode Island. She is Rhode Island's first female Lt. Governor[1]. Before being elected to the Lt. Governor position she served in the Rhode Island State Senate for five terms. She is a graduate of Brown University and received a MBA degree in healthcare management from Boston University[2].

Elizabeth H. Roberts husband, Thomas H. Roberts, comes from one of Rhode Island's major political families[3]. Together they have had two children.
