Elizabeth and Casper ten Boom were the sister and father of Corrie ten Boom. Their lives were ended in Nazi concentration camps during World War II.

The two were honored in 2008 with the title of 'Righteous Among the Nations' by Israel's Holocaust Martyrs' and Heroes' Remembrance Authority for being instrumental in saving nearly 800 Jewish lives during the Holocaust before they were discovered and imprisoned.[1]

Corrie ten Boom, author of The Hiding Place, had already been honored in 1967.
