Essay:Fake headlines

Sometimes, in order to get readers to buy a newspaper (or click on a web link), editors will place a misleading headline on a news story. For example, the New York Daily News said a mother was arrested for cheering too loudly at her daughter's graduation. Only after reading several paragraphs do you find that she was actually arrested for becoming disorderly when being removed from the premises. [1]
