Expressionism is a form of art based on distorted forms and bold colors used to express emotion. Expressionist artists believed that art should convey feelings rather than the real world. A famous expressionist was Norwegian artist, Edvard Munich. His painting entitled Scream is a well-known work of art. Other well known expressionists were Kollwitz, Kirchner, Nolde, Kandinsky, Klee and Gunther Gerzso.
