Final Fantasy VI (Also labeled as Final Fantasy III in the American SNES version in order to keep continuity) (ESRB rating: E10+/T) is the sixth game in the Final Fantasy series.

It featured highly advanced graphics for the Super Nintendo, extensive scored music, and a remarkably large cast of playable characters.

It was notably more mature than earlier games in the series, dealing with themes of despair, suicide, nihilism[1], and euthanasia. As such, some may regard this as unsuitable for younger children[2].

Plot

The game begins with a mysterious magic wielding woman called Terra who is being mind controlled as a weapon by an evil empire. She is saved by the Returners, a rebel group fighting back against the Emperor Gustav. Terra joins their ranks, and the player follows their adventures to the sundering of the world and beyond.
