The fox is a carnivorous mammal of the canine family. It has a bushy tail and red fur, although there are different kinds, like the white Arctic fox which lives in the snowy Arctic. Foxes are known for their intelligence, leading to phrases such as "cunning like a fox".

As foxes live on land, the biblical account records that they were created by God on the sixth day of creation.
