Williams attended the University of Buffalo and set a record for defensed passes[1] with 39 total over his four years playing for the Bulls (University of Buffalo football team). During his playing time with the Bulls, he made 258 total tackles (176 total), and had one interception.

NFL Career

On May 8, 2006, Williams was signed by the New England Patriots as an undrafted, rookie free agent. A few months later, on July 26, 2006, the Patriots released him from the team in a roster cutdown[2]. A few weeks later, the Patriots resigned him (Aug 12) and then subsequently released him (Aug 18) and resigned him again. His return to the Patriots was a short one again however as he was soon injured and on September 2, 2006 placed on the Patriots injured reserve list[3] causing him to miss the entire 2006 season. On May 17, 2007, the Patriots resigned Williams[4]. On August 18, 2007 Willams was released from the Patriots after he injured his hamstring during the Patriots 2007 Training Camp[5].
