Giorgio Napolitano

Giorgio Napolitano (Naples, June 29th, 1925) is, since May 15th, 2006, the eleventh President of Italy. Napolitano was a member of the Communist Party of Italy. But he critized often the Soviet Union. For example he opposed Soviet war in Afghanistan.
