Gus Hall (b.October 8, 1910 d.October 13, 2000) was a Stalinist politician and leader of the CPUSA.[1] He was the candidate for the CPUSA for the presidential elections in 1972, 1976, 1980 and 1984. He lost them all. Hall was a Anti-christian. Once he said:

"The Christians are always singing about the blood. Let us give them enough of it! Let us cut their throats and drag them over the altar! And let them drown in their own blood! I dream of the day when the last priest is strangled on the guts of the last preacher."
After Soviet Union brutally attacked Czechoslovakia in 1968, Hall said that the Soviet government had the right to intervene. He visited Russia very often and won a place to the Lenin Institute when he was 17.[2]
