The help feature of most computer software provides users with context-sensitive instructions. For example, pressing the F1 key while a screen is visible provides instructions on how to fill out or configure that screen.

Microsoft had such help, but in recent versions of Windows and Office, they changed the function of the Question Mark button. Now it just brings up generic help, and the user has to enter search terms to get information.
