Henry Winkler

Henry Winkler, OBE (born 1945) is an American actor best known for his portrayal of Arthur Fonzarelli, (the "Fonz", or "Fonzie"), on the television show Happy Days. He also played Principal Himbry in the 1996 Wes Craven film Scream.[1][2] Winkler also appeared briefly in the 2008 Adam Sandler movie You Don't Mess with the Zohan and had a recurring role on Arrested Development as "Barry Zuckerkorn".[3]

In addition to his work as an actor, Winkler is noted for his work helping children affected by dyslexia, which he himself suffered undiagnosed until the age of 31.[4]

In September 2012 he was made an honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to children's education.[5]
