"Imagine" is a John Lennon song which describes paradise in atheistic terms like "no hell below us" and "above us only sky". This song has also sadly brainwashed Christians into thinking it's a great song choice for tributes and funerals. A case started by Lennon's widow Yoko Ono involving use of this song in the film "Expelled:No intelligence allowed" was used to attempt to censor opposition to the theory of evolution. A court rejected the case.

This song is also the official anthem of the liberal group Amnesty International.-

Paul McCartney said, "It's got to be one of John's best songs." Homosexual pop star Elton John also praised it, along with U2 founder Paul Hewson.
