Indianapolis is the capital city of Indiana, located near the geographical center of the state. It had a population of 1,607,486 in 2000 [1]. Indianapolis is famous for the United States Grand Prix, or the Indianapolis 500, although the 2008 Formula1 Season will not return to the city.
