Internet Trolling is a term applied to a "Internet Troll","Forum Troll", "Wiki Troll" or "Message Board Troll". They are a person or persons (Trolling can be a group project or process.) who posts outrageous messages to bait people to answer. Forum Troll delights in sowing discord on the forums. A troll is someone who inspires flaming rhetoric, someone who is purposely provoking and pulling people into flaming discussion. Flaming discussions usually end with name calling and a flame war. Often they will postulate what many would consider a "far out" ideological point of view, and back it with "mined quotes". "Mined Quotes" are often incomplete quotations, where the user only includes the part that supports their particular point, discarding the fuller quotes, or additional quotes that tend to not show so much support, or even support the opposite point of view. It is oftentimes referred to as "Quote Mining".
