Definition
The word Intersex has three common definitions:

1. The medical condition of being born with a body conforming neither to male nor female norms.[1]
2. The medical condition of having both testicular and ovarian tissue present, so sex is indeterminate.[2]
3. The medical condition of having a Disorder of Sexual Development.[3]

The term Intersex may be applied to any animal, or humans.
