Ithaca College is a private university in New York; it was founded in 1892 by William Grant Egbert, a violinist.[2] Originally a Conservatory of Music, George C. Williams broadened the school's focus in 1897.
Ithaca ranked #7 in US News's "Universities-Master's (North): Top Schools" list.[3]
