James McHenry (1753 - 1816) was a delegate to the Constitutional Convention where he later signed the United States Constitution. He was a devout Christian. In a letter written in 1813, he had this to say about the Bible:

Bibles are strong entrenchments. Where they abound, men can not pursue wicked courses.[1]
