Jay Leno formerly host of The Tonight Show, on NBC, is currently host of a prime-time comedy talk show taped in the Los Angeles area called, "The Jay Leno Show," on NBC. As opposed to his late-night counterpart David Letterman, Leno avoids partisan rants and will poke fun at both political parties equally.[1]

During the 2007 Writer's Guild of America strike, Leno passed out doughnuts to the strikers.[2] Leno's last "Tonight Show" taping took place on May 29, 2009.
