Jock itch
From Conservapedia
Jock itch (tinea cruris) is a fungal infection that affects the thighs, buttocks, and genitals. It is identical to the ring-like fungal infection characterized by Athlete's foot and some ringworm infections of the scalp. Jock itch can be caused by the same things as Athlete's foot, and can even be spread to the thighs and genitals from a concurrent foot infection. Generally, jock itch is not serious, but it can be for individuals with compromised immune systems. Topical antifungal creams and keeping the area dry are ways to clear an infection rapidly. [1] The name "jock itch" comes from "jock", the slang term for athletes, who most commonly contract the fungal infection.
