Joe Biggs is an Infowars reporter, who carried out several tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan as a US Army senior NCO. According to the book The Operators: The Wild and Terrifying Inside Story of America's War in Afghanistan (Michael Hastings, Hachette, 2012) Sergeamt Biggs was bowled over twice by explosions and won two Purple Hearts as a result.
Police death threat
In August 2014, while covering protests in Ferguson, Missouri over the death of teenager Michael Brown, a police officer threatened to kill Biggs. "An officer walked up, bald-headed guy, came over, pointed the gun and said 'I'll effin kill you,'"
Video from the scene captured the moment Biggs was threatened. The police officer, identified as Lieutenant Ray Albers of the St. Ann Police Department was expelled from the police as a result.
“I’m not condoning his behavior whatsoever,” Police Chief Aaron Jiminez told Mediaite. “It’s very hard because he is a good friend, he was a good boss. There’s going to be those who didn’t like him who are high-fiving now. Altogether it’s going to be a black eye on the city of St. Ann because he represented our department.”
At the same, he called the way Albers pointed his weapon at protesters “totally justifiable.” Jiminez explained that just before the damning video was shot, Albers had water and urine thrown at him and allegedly spotted man in the crowd holding a gun.
Operation Jade Helm
In mid-March 2015, Alex Jones talked at length with Joe Biggs about a leaked military document announcing Operation Jade Helm, an 8-week long military and interagency unconventional warfare exercise conducted in July, August and September throughout Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, California and Colorado.
According to Biggs and Jones, soldiers were being trained to confiscate firearms and execute American “dissidents.” The US Army training manual used also revealed how prisoners would be held in temporary internment camps and “re-educated” in order to appreciate “US policies.”
2016 Presidential Elections
In April 2016, Joe Biggs used his megaphone to chastise the anti-Trump crowd for shutting down the April 7 PSU Students For Trump meeting. Most of the Infowars team used their phones to live-stream the event. People yelled at each other for about a half hour, before the pro-Trump crowd, led by Biggs, marched around the PSU campus.
