José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero (Born, August 4, 1960) has been the leader of Spain since 2004, winning the election in the aftermath of the Madrid terrorist bombings and a desire of the voters for change. He is a member of the PSOE (Partido Socialista Obrero Español), a socialist political party.
