Kaká, real name Ricardo Izecson dos Santos Leite, is a Brazilian soccer player, who plays in the Italian team AC Milan. Kaká is widely considered the best soccer player in the world, as evidenced by him winning the two most prestigious soccer awards of the year 2007, the Ballon d'Or (Golden Ball) and the FIFA World Player of the Year. In January 2009 he was courted by English side Manchester City; the club was granted permission to negotiate with the star midfielder.[1], with a potential fee being as much as 100 million pounds. However, no deal went through.[2]

Kaká is known for being a very devout Christian. He has openly spoken in favour of premarital abstinence. Under his playing jersey he keeps a shirt with the text "I belong to Jesus", which he shows after scoring a goal and at the end of matches.
