Kinder Scout is a bleak moor, which forms the highest part of Derbyshire, at 2087 feet. It is part of the Dark Peak area of the Peak District National Park.
In 1932 it was the subject of a mass trespass by ramblers, in an attempt to secure public access to the site and others like it across Britain.
