Larry Klayman is the founder of Judicial Watch and Freedom Watch. An attorney who worked in the Reagan Justice Department, he has long been a conservative and judicial activist. In 2004 he made an unsuccessful run for the Republican nomination for the Senate from Florida, but was defeated in the primary by Mel Martinez, despite the support of Operation Rescue founder Randall Terry.[1][2]

Klayman advocates a preemptive nuclear strike on Iran.[3] He has also written to the General Counsel of the Democratic National Committee, warning them that they must not certify their candidate Barack Hussein Obama eligible to stand for election to the Presidency.[4]
